I am in CP and I am writing to them to allow CP filers who are already working here in the US to file for AOS (even if the PD is not current) anticipating a very long delay for EB3 I. That way we could get atleast the minimal benefits like EAD, AP.
If any CP filers from EB3 I wanna join me, more than welcome!

There will be no movement in May bulletin, but June bulletin will be Jan 1 2006 for EB2. I'm guessing this based on last 3 years, where there was no movement in May but had significant jump every June.
What is the purpose of this guess work, or non-scientific predicting? Just wait and see, what happens? Favourable speculation is not going to generate real good bulletin.

Thanks Almond... your post summarizes exactly how ppl in my position feel. one of my frds did MBA from top 20 B-school but could not change to a new job in management career becoz his I-140 approved but did not file for I-485 yet and worse yet he crossed 6 year H1b. now he is also living on 3 year h-1b extensions with approved I-140. when he was venting his frustration like me, one a$$hole (GC holder) suggested he move back to his home country. funny thing was this a$$hole got her GC becoz she married some bakra who already applied for GC. within 6 months after she arrived in US, her huby got them GCs. This dumb wothless piece of $hit doesnt know how hard (impossible ?) to get GC in this lifetime becoz she got it in 6 months :mad: .

That is why when you feel like venting out you need to really select people that are more compassionate. No one expects a pity party, but at the same time no one should trivialize something as serious as this or give "advice" that is idiotic and that even they, had they been in this situation, would not do. I feel terrible for your friend because he has such education and is stuck like this. It feels like you're wasting the best years of your life just waiting. There is nothing that I or anyone can tell you or your friend to make you feel better but please listen to me and learn from my mistake, and tell your friend, too: DON'T WASTE THIS TIME. If you need to volunteer somewhere to use skills that you have that you are not allowed to use on your present job, DO IT. Or if you can take classes to learn new skills, DO IT. As you all know, they ask me to sign their contract in which its mention that if i leave their company before 1 year then i need to pay them 15k. Thy also charge me 3k for my H1-B which i am still paying everymonth from my paycheck and we have 70/30. In just six months i am so much fed up with them. These people are so rude...always show their arrogance over phone. I have no libarity to find job by myself. They always looking for higher pay rate sp that their big money tummy get filled up.and i also feel that they didnt told me the right pay rate for the project i am working on right now.
I really want to leave them, Even before 12 months. Is there any importance of that contract letter i signed with them?. Can they Sue me? What are my options? Please suggest me.....i am in stress.

1. Its posted in Interesting topics section. GC, E2/E3 predictions,H1B extension etc is not the only thing left in life.
2. Spelling is a logical/creative thing. Its not cramming words from dictionary. Its an art too. Ever heard of phonetics.

Are you quite sure it is a logical creative thing ? There are a lot of words which are pronounced quite differently from the way they are spelled ... unless you know the word ( by cramming ) you would not be able to spell it.

Obviously this is hard work but to what end. How is knowing the spelling of every word in the planet going to help her or anyone for that matter.
Better be a good writer who writes on interesting topics , stories or novels than to be the proof reader for the writer. Who do you think would have a good career - the writer or the proof reader.
Learning how to spell would have taken thousands and thousands of hours . Wouldn't that time be better spent in learning maths or science or arts or a musical instrument or sports or anything that will help her in the future or be personally gratifying for life. I am not sure she will remember half the words 10 years from now just like a engineer doing java programming for 10-15 years would practically remember nothing he learned in college.

Is it a good idea to contact the Congressman even when 90 days are not over. My EAD expires on 18th September and 90 days will get over on 24th September. I have already put in the expedite request with Texas, but haven't heard since then, whether its approved or not. Please suggest what should I do?

I will be on EAD for the new job..and the LOA is vacation without pay. My salary is already 30% more than the one mentioned in labor but no promotions..new job has actually lower salary and job description similar.
If i do ger rfe for evl with me in new job then I hope salary doesnot become an issue
